Unlike Doom, the advanced engine for 3D Realms' Duke Nukem allowed for Duke to look up and down as well as left and right. Apparently aliens have come down to earth and kidnapped all the "earth-babes." Duke, pissed off beyond belief, goes on a mission to kill every living alien being on and off Earth, saving the babe population from the alien scum and proving that nobody, be it terrorists, aliens or Satan himself, can mess with our earth-girls and live.įirst of all, let's talk for a second about Duke Nukem 3D on the PC. While story definitely isn't Duke's strong point, it does add to the already humorous theme of the game. The Nintendo 64 version will be an improvement over its PC ancestor in every way.

That's right, if you own a PC you've probably played Duke Nukem 3D at one time or another. Nintendo 64 owners will experience the fun, the mayhem, the destruction and comedy that is Duke Nukem in 64-bit glory, with four-player deathmatch and new weapons, monsters, levels, and effects. Duke Nukem 3D has been a runaway hit ever since it debuted on PC some years ago.
